Beta-Cyfluthrin is a Beta-Cyfluthrin high-efficiency pyrethroid insecticide with contact and stomach toxic effects, but no systemic activity. It is mainly used to control pests of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Hemiptera. Its mechanism of action is to interfere with the normal function of sodium channels in pest nerve axons, causing neural excitation, paralysis, and eventual death.
